Each year, hundreds of volunteers come together across the state of California to champion California state parks. These amazing individuals freely give up their free time and weekends to make sure our state parks stay beautiful, healthy, and well maintained. Even with the challenges of the past year and the uptick in use due to COVID-19 and stay-at-home restrictions, our volunteers continued to put in the work to make sure our parks survived.
This July, we are celebrating these dedicated park champions and all of the work they do to make sure our parks are protected now and for generations to come.
