Recreation

The California Recreation Policy provides the blueprint and direction for all California recreation providers, public and private, to develop an array of recreational opportunities.  The policy was approved by the California Park and Recreation Commission as per statute. The new policy calls upon recreational providers across the state to take a bold direction and exercise a leadership role in ensuring that a full range of stimulating, enjoyable and safe recreation experiences are available to their constituents.
